Keep Making Turns

There's some great skiing to be had still and our lifts being closed shouldn't stop you! You're welcome to hike anywhere on the mountain anytime. Snowmobiles are not allowed however. But many people skin or snowshoe up Bill's Run or Tenderfoot to hit the jackpot on guaranteed fresh tracks. You can also ski across on the West Bench trail from Mesa Lakes. Just make sure you have a shuttle set up.

And if you're a season pass holder, make sure you use up those free days at Crested Butte and Monarch before they close!

Side note: The SlushSprocket video should be up later today along with pictures.

I really wish you'd have stayed open two more weeks to make up for the month and a half of snow-less ice and dirt. This is the best the snow has been all year. I bought a season pass and feel a little short changed.

yes, it seems Powderhorn always comes up with a way to save a buck and leave it's locals a bit disatisfied. I will no longer support Powderhorn, my money is going to Sunlight, only 45 minutes further. Philips66 coupons had more blackout dates for Powderhorn than the bigger, better mountains, so i just hit the road a little earilier and Powderhorn missed out on another lift ticket.

As a reply to the above coment, I agree that the value to what you get ratio is getting smaller each year. I will still support pH for now (better terrain than Sunlight). But please add more tickets to the season pass for other resorts. Sunlight would be a great place to partner with.

I agree with Jonathin. I think it would be sweet if you guys had a pass where you could have unlimited skiing at Powderhorn and Sunlight plus a few days at Crested Butte or Telluride or some other ski areas.
